Latest news about Quarto Conto Energia
Quarto Conto Energia is a policy mechanism designed to provide incentive fees for 20 years to all the installations that start operating from June, 1, 2011 to December, 31, 2016.
In the Quarto Conto Energia the power plants are divided into two main types: the small photovoltaic systems on the one hand, and the large photovoltaic systems on the other hand.
As small photovoltaic systems are considered:
As large photovoltaic systems are considered all the remaining types of plants (i.e. whose characteristics are different from those listed above).
The amount of the incentives for large photovoltaic systems in the years 2011 and 2012 depends on the start date of the solar power plant:
Moreover large photovoltaic systems must be registered in the Italian energy provider’s book.
Large photovoltaic systems that start operating since August 31, 2011 obtains the incentives directly, without any limit or registration in the energy provider’s book.
The incentives for small photovoltaic systems in the years 2011 and 2012 are granted and are not subject to cost limits or starting dates. Furthermore, the registration in the energy provider’s book is not required.
The incentive increases of 10% if the system’s investment costs (labour not included) belong for at least 60% to a production realized of production made within the European Union.
