Remote control system

Gaia Energy offers to its customers a remote monitoring system for photovoltaic installations that represent a useful tool for monitoring the operating status of its plants both on-site and remotely.

This service has been developed considering the real needs of clients, allowing them to manage and monitor the installations, verify the proper functioning and, be promptly informed in case of anomalies, so diagnose breakdowns

The remote control system includes for each power plant:

  • a system of local data collecting, called "Data Monitor" (software and hardware) connected to the system, queries cyclically the  inverters, in order to sample the functioning data. This component communicates to a centralized data collection system;
  • a centralized data collection system, called "Data Collector", to which can be referred different Data Monitors (this system may include more power plants);
  • a system of monitoring and reporting, called "Data Reporter", whose functions can be managed through a web portal.

On the web portal are available the following several features:

  • List of installations and their operating status
  • Installation details
  • Associated power area (monitored areas of the installation)
  • Graphic display of the last recorded values for the AC / DC based parameters of current and voltage
  • Operating Parameters
    - Energy (KWh)
    - Data reliability level
    - Power (kW) Frequency (Hz)
  • Historical data
    - Produced Energy (kWh)
    - Revenue (Euro)

To display all the details about the remote control system features and the description of the functions available on the web portal for remote control, download the datasheets.
