For years, Gaia Energy has been constantly looking for new generation technological solutions for heat recovery and efficiency for companies. Among these, the ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle) is a technology that the company intends to offer in an innovative way.

In fact, the skills and partnerships gathered over the years allow Gaia Energy to design heat recovery systems that are even more contained than market standards and with a wider range of thermal operation.

Gaia Energy’s ORC turbines, soon available, will meet the needs of those companies with lower power systems and will allow greater efficiency with even more particular and extreme thermal needs.

All companies want to improve the functionality of the systems and their production efficiency.

Gaia Energy ORC Systems with lobe rotors technology will bring important advantages in this regard:

1. The system can be designed from 30 kW to 300 kW, allowing a wide range of power;
2. The technology supports a temperature range higher than the standard, from 90 °C to 300 °C;
3. Many different organic working fluids can be used, including: fluorine, ethanol coolants, methane, cooling water, steam;
4. The system can be designed with or without an oil lubrication system, which permits for it to be inserted in production systems that require “clean” sources or with specific oil-free needs;
5. By using self-exciting synchronous generators/alternators it is possible to offer stand-alone applications;

Efficiency through ORC technology concerns both companies with very small systems (MICRO ORC), and larger ones, with the need to install massive systems (MACRO ORC) or with the need to apply a technology with great thermal flexibility.

The particular ORC technology proposed by Gaia Energy Systems represents a trump card that the company will soon make available to all those companies that want to transform their structure into an even more efficient body, in line with the Kyoto and Paris Protocols.
