Innovative Construction of Electrical cabinets

Gaia Energy has always stood out for its great attention to the innovative processes in its sector. The profuse commitment in research and development lies the basis for offering of new products and services, meanwhile increasing the company skills in order to differentiate from competitors.

This approach allows the company to position itself in the market well beyond its identity as a technology supplier. This position adds value to the solutions offered to customers in response to specific operational needs.

Optimizing processes and products pays particular attention to the characterization of the consumption profiles of the customer’s energy vectors, in order to be able to expand its range of action.

This is why direct contact is established with customers through interconnection points between the energy carriers and the local electricity and gas network distributors, in order to meet supply needs and, at the same time, through remote control systems, get a privileged observation point which allows us to identify more appropriate solutions for the customer.

The interconnection points are actually prefabricated cabins, where the equipment is installed according to the distributors’ standards. This is the reason why an innovative product was created, that emerges in a well-attended market and differs from the competitors.

The research and development path undertaken is enhanced by some projects such as INN. CAB. LET. (Innovative Electrical Cabinet) which started in 2019 and allows us to achieve several objectives:

technological differentiation of the product, guaranteeing the fundamental functions, with higher performances and contained costs;

Enhancing the development of solutions that can be transported in containers, therefore with precise dimensions and extremely low weights;

These objectives make it possible to immediately guarantee an important share of the traditional market, at the same time opening up a preferential path towards other markets that are not fully reachable today due to operational and cost constraints.

 

In order to be able to achieve the project results, there are detailed implementation objectives to be pursued:

analysis of requirements for the construction of electrical cabinets: properties and characteristics of some materials are analyzed in order to evaluate their use;

prototype development using a simulator: development of a mathematical model that allows to evaluate the trend of some characteristic parameters to verify the efficiency of materials. A simulator prototype will be implemented with graphical representation of the results obtained;

laboratory experimentation: laboratory tests on some materials are carried on in order to be able to draw a comparison between the results obtained experimentally and those obtained through the use of the simulator;

analytical and numerical simulation: the execution of analytical and numerical simulations applied to specific mathematical models elaborated and developed also through laboratory tests on some materials.
